My Fiance and I both work full time, but the bills this month are crazy. We are looking at possible electric and gas disconnection after March 30th if we cannot raise the $287.19 to pay it.
Normally we could make all our bills, still have gas money and take care of the kids.
Medicaid has decided not to cover the dietary supplements my disabled 5 year old NEEDS, and we are still awaiting approval or denial from the Division of Specialized care for Children. Until then we have to buy benecalorie and pediasure out of pocket. To make matters worse, our heater went out in December and we had to pay $217 to fix it. Now they've taken my son's disability payments down an extra $100 a month.
I've already cancelled our car insurance and cell phones, we are down to a house phone now.
The last option to to disconnect the phone, which having a disabled child with multiple health concerns, is really NOT an option, but I'm not sure what else to do.
I will be getting a 50 cent raise in the next month or two, but that's not going to solve our problems.
Ameren CIPS(elec company) said they cannot work a payment plan or offer an extension because I had to do that in January after having to fix the heater.
I'm already on public assistance, we recieve $200 a month in food stamps, unfortunately that doesn't help as much as they think it does because of having to buy the benecalorie and pediasure for my oldest son.
